Introduction to the Facility Specifications

Consulting with our staff The design of the Chattanooga Convention Center represents a refreshing environment for any convention, meeting or event.

First-time visitors will find unique-but-practical design features at almost every turn. A state-of-the-art fresh air ventilation system allows temperatures to be controlled with near-pinpoint accuracy throughout the Center. This system can completely "flush out" the buildings air and replace it with a fresh supply automatically or on demand. Even parking and loading areas have been improved, with a total of 3,500 nearby parking spaces and 11 loading docks.

The Center's new design features an enhanced lighting system that uses sunlight filtered through openings in the 30-foot ceilings as a primary light source. Special sensors monitor the brightness of direct and diffused sunlight entering the building and adjust indoor lights to accommodate for the changes. The more natural light there is entering the building, the less artificial light used.

Then, there is the space itself - a total of 185,000 square feet, which includes 100,000 square feet of clear span exhibit space, 21 meeting rooms and six ballrooms--all with state-of-the-art connectivity. Removable walls complete the package, allowing exhibition and meeting spaces to be configured to your specifications.

Our staff works closely with event sponsors to tailor the event area to their needs. We can reformat the main exhibit halls to include as much or as little area as needed. You will find that working with the Convention Staff is a pleasant and productive experience!

That's why we designed the Chattanooga Convention Center with areas flexible enough to meet any layout configuration. From mammoth conventions with thousands of attendees to intimate gathering of a few colleagues, the spaces here come tailored to fit.
